Practical Master Thesis

You may organize a thesis with a company of your own choice where you would like to write your thesis. After having applied at the company directly, you should name the company and describe potential topics in the application form. Your supervisor will discuss the details about your topic with you after your application was accepted.

Application process for a practical thesis

Please submit only one application. Your thesis will be centrally allocated.

To ensure you will receive the data necessary for your master thesis in time, we need a short description of the data provided by the company.  Please fill in the data confirmation as agreed with your company supervisor and send it to us together with your application.

Please fill in the application form (we recommend using Acrobat Reader) and send it together with all other documents (data confirmation, transcript of records, bachelor’s certificate, resume, references and certificates from internships) to master-SCM(at)wiso.uni-koeln.de before the application deadline. Please submit the application form and all other documents in two pdf-files. The file containing all other documents should not exceed 4 MB.
